30 Day Challenge

Day 30: What has been going on this past month...

Man o' Man, there has definitely a lot of things that have been going on for us.

• We had to say our Goodbyes to Grandpa Jim this past month. We celebrated his life on May 13th in Burbank, California.

• The following day was my birthday. So Chris, My sister, and Myself head to Disneyland for the day. Thank you to my dad and step mama for watching the kids for us.

• I started my internship this month! =) Super Excited about that!

• Took Kayden to get a 2nd opinion about his really bad butt rash, and now its basically gone! Woohoo!!

• Chris and I are going to be celebrating our First Wedding Anniversary on the 30th! =) [Blog to Come]
  

I'm sure I've missed a few things but those where the major events! =)

Day 29: My Wish for the Future

First Wish:
To have my family back to the way it use to be. Ever since My grandfather left us on this earth, everyone in the family started falling apart. So my wish for the future is for the family to come back together as one!

Second Wish:
To be healthy, happy, and debt free!! =)

Day 28: My Favorite Place

This one has me torn because I have a few different favorite places...

I Love being outside doing whatever...even when it is a 115 degrees outside!

I Love being home with my family!!

I love being in my husbands arms, especially when nothing is going right,
he just makes the world stop!

I love being on the softball field! [I really miss being on the field...I realized how much I missed it this weekend watching all the College Softball Championships!]

I'm just a simple girl and I just loving being with my family! No matter where it is =)

Day 27: What am I currently reading...

....Well since I'm a full time mommy and a full time student I really don't have the time to read for fun. So the book I'm currently reading is my text book.

Day 26: My Favorite Memory

My Favorite Memory is when I first met Christopher.

Our best friend Daniel took both of us to a football game~not even trying to hook us up or anything. Chris had a girlfriend that lived backed in Minnesota and I was dating someone in San Diego. But We were both home that weekend just hanging out with some of our friends. Anyways...Daniel, Myself, and Josh headed over to pick Chris up. I had no clue who this guy was but Daniel always talked highly about him. So as he was walking out to the truck, I could not keep my eyes off of him. He was soo cute!!

Once he finally got in the truck, he introduce himself and he would not stop talking...lol! I honestly think he asked me 200 questions that night..No Lie!! I remember sitting in the middle of Chris and Daniel at the game..I remember whispering to Daniel "who is this guy and why is he asking me soo many questions?" Daniel just laughed and said that is just Chris for you.

Later the night, we went to the bowling ally! I think this was the first night I ever bowled over 100 and something. I guess I was trying to impress him or something...lol!
Needless to say, Chris and I broke up with our prior relationships and pretty
much started dating shortly after that. =)

I'm very glad that I went out that night because I would have not met my best friend, the love of my life, and the father of my children that night!

Day 25: Three good things that have happened in the past 3 months

First:
I was able to meet my son for the very first time on April 10th, 2011.

Second:
Finished my billing course and started my internship! Great opportunities to come =)

Third:
Standing up for myself and what I believe in. Not letting anyone walk all over me like I use to do. (I know that this may sound weird but it is true)

Day 18: What's in my makeup Bag?

I'm not the type that wear's tons and tons of make up,

but when I do wear make up I wear...
So I have all of the powders, eye liner, Mascara , eye shadow and all that good stuff!
I also have my facial cleaning products!!

Day 17:What I wore Yesterday

Yesterday, I had my Internship and we are required to wear scrubs. So for half the day, I wore Scrubs! Have you ever woren scrubs? If you haven't you are missing out because they are soo comfy!!

After I got home from my internship, I quickly got changed into leggings and a dress shirt because we had to attend Grandpa Jim's second service.

Day 14: Favorite Vacation

My Favorite Vacation...
This is really hard because all My Vacations are all amazing no matter what the circumstances are. So this is really hard to narrow down to one. So that being said, I'm going to do my top three memorable Vacations that had the most impacted on me.

...Camping Trip...

When My Parents were still together, we would take a camping trip to northern California every August before school would start. The last time we went on a camping trip was right before I was going into High School, which would be in 2002. It was an amazing trip. My Parents were still together, My Grandpa Gary was healthy and a live still, I had my best friend Lacie there, and My sister had her best friend Kelly there. This trip was very memorable to me because I can honestly can say that I was grounded on a vacation trip. (I know, Sounds horrible huh? but this is what happen) Us four girls met some boys around the camp ground, and we would talk to them through these walkie talkie's that we had. Well lets just say that my dad over heard the guys talking to each other about what they wanted to do to us girls. My dad did not want that to happen to us girls so he grounded us to the camp ground. We were not allowed to go any where but the general store or without the parents or someone from our camp.

...Death Valley Trip...
My Grandpa and Grandma Hilts took My Cousin Geoff, My Sister, and Myself to Death Valley with them over our Spring Break. We would have Easter Egg Hunts around our camp, that was a lot of fun. During the day, we would travel around looking at Flowers, Cactus, and the history that was down there. There was one thing that I remember the most from this trip was when the winds got up to 60mph and we were sitting in a camper. The camper starting rocking side to side (yes, very scary) So my grandpa being the amazing Christian he is, started praying to God, asking God to keep us safe, and asking God to slow down the winds. No lie, the winds stop within 10 minutes. I want to believe that God had something to do with it, or the wind just really stopped on its own. But I want to believe that God did that. This trip made me become a true believer of God.


...Minnesota...
When Chris and I first got together, he always talked about his home town. I was really interested in going out there to see what all the fuss was about. LoL Well I happened to experience my first Minnesota trip was in the smack middle of winter. We were actually surprising his parents, the only ones that knew were coming out were his brother Scott and Stephanie. Scott and Stephanie picked us up from the airport and then we head to Fairmont. Nyla (Chris' Mom), was home and had no idea we were in the kitchen. She walked in the kitchen and saw us standing there. Her facial expression was priceless!! Brad (Chris' Dad) just got home from work and had no idea we were there. I loved surprising them, they are such loving and caring people. I just love being around them. My most memorable of this trip was meeting Chris' entire family at the Gerhardt's Christmas, and then seeing where he grew up. This trip I realized that I was in love with Christopher.

Those were My Three Favorite Vacations and the most impacting trips that I had in my life.

Day 13: Favorite Cake Recipe

My Favorite Cake Recipe...

I will have to say that I'm a huge fan of White Cake with Raspberry filling!! Honestly, the only place I have found this amazing cake was at Vons Bakery!! Yum!!

I really need to make it for myself now!! LoL!
