Update...

Wow, a lot has happen in the past month. There is a lot going on in our family and friends lives.

Makenzie is growing like a weed. She will be four months old on Tuesday. She has her four-month check up, and she will also be getting her four-month shots as well. I’m thinking about getting her ears pierced at her doctor’s office.

On July 8, 2010, Makenzie rolled over for the first time. She was so excited although she probably was not really sure what had happen. She had the biggest smile on her face. Chris gave her a pink softball right after that. She also sleeps with that ball. It’s actually really cute. I think it’s awesome that we are starting her early with liking the softball.

Chris and I decided that we are not going to be moving to Minnesota for another three years or so. We made this decision for many reason. Chris can’t transfer to their department until he has a full three years of experience here. We also just bought our condo and received the $8,000 tax credit, so we will not be able to move for three years. I also decided that I wanted to go back to school. I will most likely be starting in about two weeks or so. I will be attending a school called Northwest Health Careers. The program that I will be doing will be all online. So I wont have to be in a classroom every day, and I wont have to miss any work. I would have to go to school every Saturday though. But I will be actually working in a doctor’s office on actual medical billing & coding. So I will learn in the books and hands on, which is the best way for me to learn. The school also offers Massage therapy, and they have a review class for the nationals. So I can also go to that and they will help me pass the nationals so I can actually have my massage therapy licenses.

My Best Friend, Lacie just got engaged. Justin proposed to her on the July 10th, 2010 in San Deigo. He asked her on Mission Beach right in the same area her brother asked his wife to marry him, which is way exciting and crazy. I’m so excited for them. She also asked me to be her Matron of Honor. I was so blessed that she asked me. We are going to have so much fun planning her wedding. As of right now they plan on having their ceremony in October of 2011.

Baby Elizabeth…R.I.P Baby Girl (August 8th, 2009 to July 7th, 2010)

You will be truly missed. I can not believe that you are gone. You were such an amazing little girl. You did brin

g happiness and joyfulness into every room that you came into. For everyone that does not know the story about Baby girl…this is what happened to our baby girl…

On Fathers day, the family was together and it was obvious that she wasn't feeling well. Tuesday of that week she had a doctor appointment where the doctor did blood work and as that day progressed, she ended up in the emergency room. There was a liver issue. She was yellow. Originally they thought she had a virus and were trying to find out what it was. As

that week went on, she declined. On that next Sunday, she was flown to UMC in Tucson, AZ. The doctors at Sunrise Hospital had been working with the doctors at UMC, where they specialize in live

r transplants. When she arrived at UMC it seemed like a God send. We were all confident it was the right move and she would receive excellent care. For the next week things slowly progressed and we were certain they would find a diagnosis and cure soon. But on the 4th she began declining and they discovered that she had a heart problem. The liver specialist was determined the heart issue was causing the liver issue but the cardiologist

disagreed. So more testing was done and it was proven that it was indeed her heart. The morning of the 7th, shortly after we received the news that she had a heart defect similar to her father's and all felt a renewed sense of hope, God took her pain away.

Our family wants to thank all of you for the things you have done and your prayers and thoughts. This has been an extremely difficult time for us and your support has been so comforting.

To raise enough funds to pay for funeral expenses, medical bills and grief counseling for Steven and Presley.
